Beach Community Bank Fiesta Sand Sculpture Contest

Many participants came out to Pensacola Beach for a day of fun in the sun! All ages were welcome to participate in this free event.

The Beach Community Bank Sand Sculpture Contest was held Sunday, June 6, 2010. There were six divisions in which participants were able to compete: guppy, youth, teen, adult, open, or Corporate Cup division. More than $1,900 in cash prizes were given away.

Winners in the 2010 Beach Community Bank Fiesta Sand Sculpture Contest:
Youth 1st place - Nikolas and Victoria Bindi (Pyramids and Sphinx)
Youth 2nd place - Lynn Arthur (Sea Turtle Sandy)
Youth 3rd place - Andrew Townsend (Mr. Krabs 1st love)

Teen 1st place - Chase Louviere (The Grotto)
Teen 2nd place - Kris Kessler (Summer Time Sphinx)
Teen 3rd place - Lauren Lautensiager, Sarah Townshend, and Christopher Hodge (Disaster)

Adult 1st place - Kathy and David Bosso (Spill baby spill)
Adult 2nd place - Liz Arthur (Fire breathing dragon)
Adult 3rd place - Angela and Bobby Bonner (Crabbie)

Open Division 1st place - Chuck and Tammy Kunze (Close encounter)
Open Division 2nd place - Nikolay Protsuk (New life of the dead shoe)
Open Division 3rd place - Barry Shuck (Dedication to Kaylin Shuck - struck by a motorcycle April 17 on Pensacola Beach)
Open Division 4th place - Jeff Darby (Honor and Protect)
